Q: How long will it take to get my order? TOP
Orders will typically ship 7 working days after your order is submitted. During the high season (November/December) it can take up to 10 working days to complete and ship the order. Remember to order gifts early! Deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery will be December 13! Q: Where do I e-mail my photo once I place my order? TOP

Q: Which photos work best for my photo charm? TOP

Your photo is what makes the piece! The quality of photo and shot you use is what makes you piece of jewelry a one-of-a-kind beautiful treasure...with that said make sure you send a HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTO with a "free or clutter" background.
Focusing on 1 face works best, if you would like to have more than 1 face or the whole picture including the background in your charm please be specific and let us know that when you e-mail the photo to photos@alanaliliedesigns.com. Otherwise we will zoom in on the face.
Don't worry about the size or color of your originals, we will convert your photo for you into a tiny image with our black and white classic tint, unless you'd like them in color. Q: When I send you my photos by mail for my charm, do I get my photos back? TOP
A: We can return all photos with your finished order. Please make sure that your name and return address is listed on the back of the picture that you submit to Alana Lilie Designs Q: Do digital photos work well? TOP
A: Yes, simply upload your digital photos in seconds and e-mail them to Alana at photos@alanaliliedesigns.com and specify what part of the picture you would like included in your charm, (example: the whole body, just the face, etc…) Make sure that the picture is a sharp picture and not blurry, otherwise it will not turn out! If you’d prefer to send a photo by mail please mail the photo in between 2 pieces of cardboard to Alana Lilie 11516 Gold Cave Dr Austin, TX 78717. Remember that if you have more than 1 person in the photo you use the faces will be smaller, that is why it is recommended that you only put 1 face on the smaller charms and up to 3 faces on the larger charms/pendants. Q: How long does the whole process take for the photo charms? TOP
A: Alana Lilie Designs offers a few Production/Shipping packages. Typically orders are completed and shipped 14 business days from the time Alana Lilie Designs receives your photos, and your photos are accepted. For faster delivery, select our Rush option, additional fees will be added for the Rush. Q: Can I get my photo jewelry wet? TOP
A: Yes. Photos are sealed permanently in our charms with a UV resistant, waterproof, glossy covering. Q: Can Alana LiLie Designs work with my photos to make people appear closer or to take away backgrounds, etc.? TOP
A: Yes. We automatically take any steps necessary to make your photos as perfect as they need to be to fit beautifully into our charms. If we feel your photo needs attention beyond what we normally offer, we will contact you as there may be a fee for this.

A: No, we'll take care of that. You'll receive a finished piece of jewelry.
Q: Can you send my a piece with empty charms so that we can add the photos later? TOP
A: No. We send out finished pieces only. Q: Can my jewelry have color photos? TOP
A: Yes. We do recommend black and white, but we will do charms in color upon special request.
Q: Can I return my piece of jewelry? TOP
A: Because each piece is custom, Alana Lilie Designs does not issue refunds unless the piece of jewelry is defective. Alana Lilie Designs does not offer refunds if you are unhappy with the photo you submit so please select a photo carefully! It is a good idea to read in the FAQ's section how to select a good photo to use... Q: May I use a professional photographer’s picture in my jewelry? TOP
A: You may only use the photographer’s work if you have permission from them. The customer takes full responsibility for using the photo that they send to Alana Lilie Designs.
Alana Lilie Designs does not take responsibility if the photograph that is sent to us is copyrighted by the photographer!
Please make sure that you have permission to use the photo before you use it! Q: What is the availability of items? TOP
Occasionally items will go on back-order. Alana Lilie Designs will let you know as soon as possible if this occurs. Alana Lilie Designs cannot guarantee availability of any one design but will do our best to get you what you ordered as soon as possible! An e-mail or phone call will be made in this situation with an expected ship date. |
